Paulsboro High School senior Angelo DiPol signed his letter of commitment to Sacred Heart University Monday afternoon.
Formerly a 113-pound District 27 runner-up for Camden Catholic in his sophomore campaign during the 2021-2022 season, DiPol’s junior season, his first at Paulsboro was cut short after being riddled with injuries.
Despite the injury setbacks, DiPol has state title aspirations in 2024 — both individual and team. The Group 1 power Red Raiders lost to Delaware Valley 34-31 in the NJSIAA Group 1 State Final last February. A healthy DiPol could very well be the missing piece the Red Raiders need to avenge their title loss. He looks to make a run in Atlantic City for the individual tournament as well.
Best of luck to Angelo for a healthy, and successful senior season!
