The Scarlet Knights men's basketball team had a really good week despite their loss on Wednesday. They were able to beat Seton Hall for the first time since 2019 and started to show real team cohesion. Clifford Omoruyi stepped up and dominated on defense, helping to slow down a tough Pirates offense. Omoruyi and Fernandes played well together and used their skills to benefit each other.

As a team the Scarlet Knights shot 39.3% from the field and 40.9% from beyond the arc this week. They collected 69 rebounds as a whole as well. Rutgers will take on Long Island University on Saturday where they will look to keep this positivity alive and secure another win.
