FDU Florham’s Women’s Track and Field team congratulated two of their student-athletes today as they earned qualifying marks for the 2023 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor Championship held at East Stroudsburg University.
First-year student Brianna Fasoli ran a time of 7.83 seconds for 12th place in the 55m dash, earning her time the 20th fastest in the conference. She finished sixth in the 55m hurdles with a time of 9.45 seconds, which currently ranks sixth in the MAC. Fasoli is a criminology major and is also a member of the Women’s Soccer team.
Senior Sophia Miskulin finished 25th in the shot put with a best throw of the conference of 9.11m. Miskulin is a psychology and education major and is also a member of the Women’s Volleyball team.
FDU Florham will compete next Saturday, February 11 at Ocean Breeze Track and Field Center in Staten Island for the Big Apple Invitational.
