Chicago Bears vs. New York Jets: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Well, that's much better.

After a quarterback change last week, the Jets reclaimed their offense as they beat the visiting Chicago Bears by the final score of 31-10. The Bears' defense couldn't stop quarterback Mike White and the run game as it was all Jets. With that in mind, here are the good, the bad, and the ugly from last Sunday's game.

The Good

Mike White: In a shocking twist, the Jets started Mike White over Zach Wilson, and White ran away with the opportunity as he threw for 315 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. White injected life into this offense as they desperately needed it. I know it was against the Bears but let's be honest, White needs to face a really good defense and will face it this Sunday against Minnesota.

The Jets Offense: A change in quarterbacks did wonders for this team as everyone was in sync with each other. Garrett Wilson had a great game, catching five passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Even Elijah Moore, frustrated with his role in the offense, caught two catches for 64 yards, including a 22-yard TD. This team does better under Mike White.

Jets Defense: Lost in the offensive shine is the Jets' defense which allowed only ten points in an offense led by Trevor Siemian. CJ Mosely led the defense with ten tackles and one interception, while rookie CB Sauce Gardner had three tackles. This defense is serious.

The Bad

Special Teams: Jets special teams have been pretty rocky this season and this Braden Mann botched snap isn't helping matters.

The Ugly

The Weather: The only ugliness from this game was the rain, as it was pretty bad.

Three Stars of The Game

  1. Mike White: 22-of-28, 315 yards, three touchdowns
  2. Garrett Wilson: Five receptions for 95 yards, two touchdowns
  3. CJ Mosley: Ten tackles
