In return, the Jets will receive a 2025 6th-round pick for Hardman. New York signed Hardman in the off-season to a one-year $4 million contract. He was supposed to be one of the deep threats that Rodgers could count on. Once Rodgers went down it seemed to end Hardman's time as a Jet.
This year, he has only had one catch for six yards, playing only 28 snaps and had already acknowledged that he would be open to a trade. Harman returns to Kansas City where he had 25 catches for 297 and four touchdowns over four seasons with the Chiefs.
