The Washington Spirit had no answer for defender Gina Lewandowski and the bend not break defense of NJ/NY Gotham FC as the two sides battled to a scoreless draw Tuesday night.
"We definitely can play a lot better but we did hold on, we did our job, we held a clean sheet, that was one of our goals and yeah it is in our own hands right now but the job's not done. We still have to win at home but yeah I mean Louisville is gonna come out strong. We just got to do our job," said Lewandowski after the match.
