Jets Top Fantasy Players: Week 3 vs. New England

Sunday morning and rain is falling! Who are the top two Jets Fantasy Football Players this week? Let’s take a look:

Breece Hall

Many fantasy owners wonder whether they should start Hall or Dalvin Cook. Last week against Dallas the Jets (for some reason) decided to throw the ball more with Zach Wilson. Hall took to social media after only getting four carries and voiced his displeasure.

This is all the more reason to believe he is due for a huge output today in fantasy leagues. The key for Hall will be protecting the ball in what is sure to be a slippery, wet, and rainy MetLife. All indications point to his knee being fully healed and it is time to let him loose.

Cook will obviously be involved as well in the run game, however, Hall has more chemistry with Wilson and as Week 1 showed has more explosion. In the last 4 games, Hall played in last year, the Jets were 4-0 with him having monster games in three out of the four games. This will be his first taste of the rivalry and he will deliver.

Jets Defense:

The Jets' defense is always a threat and great play in fantasy leagues and this week is no different. The Patriots' offense does come into the week having a top-10 passing offense in yards per game through the first two weeks. Sunday will not be a huge passing day and even if it was they have not run into a defense like New York’s yet.

New England’s ground game is one of the worst in the NFL. The team as a whole ranks 27th in rushing yards per game. Their offense is not generated through the ground game even with signing Ezekiel Elliot this off-season who now looks cooked. Look for the Jets front seven to stack the line and force Mac Jones to try and throw the ball more resulting in at least one intersection today. In what will be a low-scoring game, you cannot go wrong with the Jet's defense.
