Audubon wins South Jersey Group 1 Title over Schalick- Girls Soccer Recap

The Audubon High School Girls soccer team defeated Schalick, 2-1 in the final round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 1 playoffs Monday evening. It was the team's first SJ1 title since the 2019-2020 season, when they defeated Woodstown, 2-0.

Audubon sophomore Peyton Marrone scored first for the Green Wave with a header off a corner kick to go into halftime with a 1-0 lead. Junior Makenna Ammon scored 10 minutes into the second half to extend Audubon's lead 2-0 with 30 minutes remaining.
