JSN High School Girls Athlete of the Year Finalists

2023 showed us that New Jersey high school athletes are some of the best athletes in the country. Whether it be during the Fall, Winter, or Spring, someday we may see these young athletes in the pros. Here are the finalists for JSN Girls High School Athlete of the Year:

Addison Halpern: The Rutgers Prep junior finished off her incredible 2023 campaign with 40 goals and 7 assists. Halpern surpassed 100 career goals back in September and ended the year tallying 136 career goals.

Addison was also one of the top clutch players in the state this season. Back in September, she buried the game winning goal to beat the then 3rd ranked Freehold. Halpern also buried one of the penalty kicks that helped the Argonauts capture the Non-Public B State title against DePaul

Zoe Brooks: Brooks led the St John Vianney Girls basketball team to the Non-Public State Title last season. In the championship game, Brooks went off for 33 points and scored the buzzer beating layup to clinch the title for the Lady Lancers. She is now a star freshman at NC State.

Brooks played that game through a torn plantar fasciitis in her left foot, showing how tough of a competitor she is. On the season, she averaged 22.5 points, 6.6 boards and 4.1 assists per game.

Christina Fallon: After suffering an injury during her freshman year, Fallon returned as a sophomore and led St. John Vianney to another highly successful season. As a team, the Lancers finished the season unbeaten and won the State Team Championship. Fallon won gold in the individual all-around with a score of 38.575. She also won gold on the floor with a score of 9.75.
