Devils Announce Pre-Season Schedule

The New Jersey Devils’ 2024-25 preseason will begin at home on Sunday, September 22, against the New York Islanders. There will be seven games played during the two-week span: three at home and four on the road. The Devils will play against the New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, and Philadephia Flyers.

New Jersey will hop onto the road after their first game to visit the Canadiens on September 24, followed by a home game against the Capitals on the 25.

The Devils will then travel to take on the Islanders for the second time during the preseason at UBS arena.

The Hudson River rivalry will be back for two nights in a row, first beginning at the Prudential Center on September 30, and then both teams will travel to MSG for a game on October 1.

New Jersey will close out the pre-season with a game against the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.

Each game will take place at 7 pm.

Rookies will report to training camp on September 11, followed by veterans joining them on September 16.

Pre-season is a good opportunity to shuffle lines around and see who already has chemistry and who could possibly be good together. It also gives fans a chance to see how the Devils seem to shape up for the regular season.

Last pre-season, the Devils went undefeated and got stuck with a “pre-season curse”; no one wants that to happen again. How will New Jersey do this pre-season?

Be sure to check out for Devils updates!
